Brake fluid tester determines the humidity change of brake fluid according to the change of conductivity. The humidity is clearly displayed by the light emitting diode. High moisture content will reduce the boiling point and then affect the braking performance. Red indicates that brake fluid needs to be replaced immediately, green indicates that brake fluid is in good condition, and yellow indicates that brake fluid remains good, but will change.

3%LED: water content, H2O ≤ 3%, brake fluid recommended replacement
4%LED: water content, H2O ≥ 4%, brake fluid must be replaced
