【Common Questions】
Question: Do I need to charge first before using?
Answer: Please use it first. Wait until the flashlight light becomes dim, then charge it for 4 hours before using again. Lithium batteries are most vulnerable to over-discharge; please develop the habit of charging regularly.
Question: What should I do if the light bulb is broken?
Answer: The light has a lifespan of 10W hours. In case it breaks down unfortunately, you can contact us for a discounted replacement.
Question: What is over-discharge of lithium batteries?
Answer: Continuing to use the device with significantly reduced brightness can cause battery damage. Even after professional activation, the battery capacity will decrease noticeably. Therefore, please pay attention to maintaining the battery properly and charge it frequently.
Precautions for using high-intensity flashlights
Do not frequently disassemble the lamp base to avoid damage to the reflector cup or bulb.
Maintenance Precautions for High-Light Flashlights
Please perform regular maintenance on the flashlight during use to ensure it continues to provide you with high-quality service.
1: After each use, wipe the flashlight with a clean, soft cloth.
2: When the flashlight is contaminated with seawater or corrosive liquids, promptly clean it with clean water and dry it with a hairdryer.
3: When the lamp head and tail cap do not turn smoothly, apply a small amount of silicone grease at the interface.
4: When not in use, remove the battery and store it in a cool place.
Product-related instructions
1. Instructions for Using the Switch
1. The battery has the positive electrode facing inward (toward the lamp head), and the negative electrode facing outward (at the tail).
2. The switch is located at the rear. Pressing the switch again activates the switch function, while pressing it lightly activates the dimming function.
2. Instructions for Using the Circuit Board
1. The store's flashlight utilizes advanced voltage regulation and constant current technology, which effectively meets the requirements for voltage regulation and constant current of LED flashlights.
2. Special Notes:
Do not use above the specified pressure limit; the voltage should not exceed 4.2V;
The positive electrode of the battery should face forward; do not reverse it, otherwise the board will burn out.
Pay attention to controlling the temperature change of the flashlight to ensure proper heat dissipation;
Please do not open the circuit board if you are not a professional;
3. Warranty instructions: Circuit boards that have been opened or processed are no longer covered by the warranty.
III. Instructions for Using Lithium Batteries
1. The battery used in this flashlight is mainly a 18650 lithium battery;
1. Light head: Uses CREE Q5 LED from the United States. It features extremely high brightness, with a maximum luminance of 250 lumens, and a lifespan of 100,000 hours.
2. Circuit: Five-step dimming circuit with anti-reverse connection and over-discharge protection functions:
There are also single and three levels (high-medium-low-burst SOS distress signal) to choose from. If you need the single or three levels, please indicate this in the notes when ordering, and we will ship according to your request.
5-level dimming: High – Medium – Low – Flash – SOS
A. High light intensity, current: 900MA – 1100MA
B. Zhongguang, Current: 280MA–320MA
C. Low light, current: 40–60 mA
D. Blazing Flash
E.SOS, SOS international distress signal (three short \ three long \ three short)
Shifting: Power on to select any gear; if the duration is less than 2 seconds, power is cut off. The next time powered on, the gear will be selected automatically. If powered on for more than 3 seconds, a memory function is activated, and the same gear will be used the next time powered on.
The current ratios for the first three gears are respectively: 100%, 30%, and 5%
2. Lithium battery characteristics: The charging method for lithium batteries and mobile phone batteries is completely different; lithium batteries have no memory effect, allowing charging at any time and avoiding overcharging or overdischarging.
3. The first charge should take at least 6 hours; thereafter, it can be adjusted based on the green light indicator on the charger. There is no need for overcharging.
4. The natural discharge rate of lithium batteries releases approximately 1% or less of its charge per day when not in use. Although slow, this helps prevent prolonged storage.
5. Pay attention to the battery’s water resistance, moisture resistance, and drop resistance;
6. Special note: Use a charger with “three protections” such as overcharge protection, reverse connection protection, and short-circuit protection;
7. If the battery is not used for a long time, charge it to full and store it. Normally, charge and discharge it once after about three months.
8. Warranty instructions: The battery is out of warranty after leaving the factory.
4. Instructions for Using a Flashlight
1. When using a flashlight, choose it based on its voltage and battery requirements. Do not use it indiscriminately to avoid damaging the circuit board. Do not use batteries of different models or voltages simultaneously.
2. During use, turn off the flashlight if its brightness changes significantly to prevent over-discharge of the battery.
3. Cooling techniques: During use, ensure proper cooling of the flashlight. It is highly recommended to charge the battery fully and use level 2 first, which can extend the lifespan of both the light head and the battery! Holding the flashlight tightly with hands is an effective cooling method.
It is recommended that when turning on, the flashlight should be allowed to dissipate heat promptly or turned off depending on its heat generation, and it should be turned on again only after the temperature has dropped for proper cooling.
4. Strengthen measures to prevent damage due to water resistance and shock resistance of flashlights;
5. Keep the inner wall of the lamp cup clean; never use hands or hard objects to wipe it. To remove fingerprints from the lens, gently clean it with a cotton swab dipped in lens cleaner.
6. Do not direct the light from a flashlight directly into people’s eyes; it is extremely bright and blinding, which may affect vision, especially for children;
7. If the flashlight is not used for a long time, remove the battery (for one month or longer) to prevent chemical corrosion.
5. Protection Instructions
1. Do not expose the flashlight to sunlight, water, chemical substances, and corrosive gases for long periods of time to prevent damage to the protective layer of the flashlight:
2. To ensure smooth rotation of the O-ring and threads, wipe their surface with vaseline oil 2–3 times per year;
5. Fault Diagnosis and Repair
1. Check the battery: Ensure the battery is charged and installed in the correct direction. Do not use batteries of different brands, and do not mix old and new batteries.
2. Check the tail cover: Ensure the switch is tightened properly and has good contact, and guarantee that the copper post of the tail cover contacts well with the metal piece of the pressure ring;
3. Check if the light bulb socket is loose.
Due to the high brightness of this product, direct exposure from close range to the eyes may cause eye strain. Please keep the flashlight safely, and avoid letting children shine it directly on their eyes.
