Heavy-duty hex net, also known as large-size hex net or Gubing net, is made by twisting high-quality steel wire using a netting machine. This product has a wide range of applications. It can be used for slope support, foundation pit support, netting and shotcreting on rock surfaces, slope vegetation (greening), isolation barriers for railways and highways. It can also be transformed into stone cages and stone pads for erosion protection in rivers, dams, and sea dikes, as well as stone net cages for water reservoir and river diversion.

(1) The galvanized large-sized hex mesh is woven from high-quality low-carbon steel wires, with tensile strength of no less than 35 kg/m². The diameter of the steel wires can range from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. The surface of the steel wires is typically protected by hot-dip galvanizing. The thickness of the galvanizing layer can be customized according to customer requirements, and generally, the galvanizing amount reaches 200 g/m².

(2) Galvanized wire wrapped with plastic hexagonal mesh involves covering the surface of galvanized wire with a PVC protective layer, which is then woven into various sizes of hexagonal mesh. This PVC protective layer significantly increases the lifespan of the mesh, and by choosing different colors, it can match the surrounding natural environment.
