Moreover, the surface of the paper is relatively smooth, and when scratched with a fingernail or a hard object, there will be a clear imprint on the paper.
3. Carbonless Paper: This cash register paper is made up of at least two layers or more, with the first copy requiring a needle printer to print the color, but the subsequent copies rely on the printing pressure of the needle printer to color.
4. Self-adhesive receipt paper: This type of receipt paper is made up of one or more layers and becomes visible when pressed by a pin-type printer. The paper does not require a ribbon to be installed. The first part of this receipt paper is called the self-adhesive paper, and the following parts are ordinary carbonless paper.

Purchasing Tips
General cash register paper and carbonless cash register paper are produced using double-coated paper, and the quality of the cash register paper completely depends on the quality of the double-coated paper used. To achieve better performance, the first thing to look at is the material. Paper with a pure white surface without impurities is generally wood pulp paper, which produces better cash register paper with better tensile strength and clean appearance. Paper made from mixed pulp or grass pulp paper has more or less impurities, which is quite obvious, and the tensile strength is also poor. It is easy to break during printing. The second thing is smoothness. Cash register paper with better smoothness can reduce the wear of the printing head and achieve better printing effects.
Hot-sensitive receipt paper is specially designed for use with hot-sensitive printers. The quality of the paper directly affects the print quality and storage time, and even the service life of the printer. Hot-sensitive receipt paper is generally divided into three layers: the bottom layer is the paper base, the second layer is the hot-sensitive coating, and the third layer is the protective layer. The main factor affecting the quality of the paper is the hot-sensitive coating or the protective layer. If the coating of the hot-sensitive receipt paper is not uniform, printing will result in uneven color depth. If the chemical formula of the hot-sensitive coating is not reasonable, the storage time of the paper will be shortened after printing. The protective layer is also very important for the storage time after printing, as it can absorb some light that causes chemical reactions in the hot-sensitive coating, slowing down the deterioration of the hot-sensitive receipt paper.
The method of identifying thermal receipt paper: Firstly, look at the appearance of the paper. High-quality thermal receipt paper has uniform color, good smoothness, high whiteness, and a slight greenish tinge. If the paper is very white, the protective coating and thermal coating are not reasonable, and too much fluorescent powder has been added. If the paper does not have high smoothness or looks uneven, the coating is not uniform. If the paper looks like it reflects light strongly, it is also added too much fluorescent powder. Secondly, heat the paper with fire. If the color that appears on the paper is brown when heated from the back, it indicates that the thermal formula is not very reasonable, and the storage time may be relatively short. If there are small stripes or uneven color blocks in the black parts of the paper, it indicates that the coating is not uniform. High-quality paper should be black green after heating, and the color blocks should be uniform, with the color gradually fading from the center to the surrounding.
