Usage Scope
1. Cooking and Diet
2. Lighting, barbecue, and starting fires
3. Remove ice and thaw
4. Process and model production
5. Welded pipe joints
6. Paint peeling
Precautions
1. Contains pressurized flammable gas; keep away from children. 2. Do not puncture or play with lighters; do not throw them into fire. 3. Use in well-ventilated areas; be careful of flammable materials. 4. The flame tip must not face combustible objects such as faces, skin, or clothing to avoid danger. 5. When lighting, identify the flame hole location and press the button appropriately. Lighters come in different models with varying ignition methods: direct, side, or edge ignition; for gasoline-powered lighters, quickly rub the grinding wheel; for loud-blast lighters, quickly rub the drum with the thumb from right to left. 6. During use, if ash or debris falls into the flame hole, blow hard to remove it promptly, otherwise it may cause poor ignition. 7. For loud-blast and gasoline lighters, gas begins to escape as soon as the cap is opened. Therefore, when not in use, ensure the cap is tightly closed. 8. This product is not suitable for lighting; do not burn continuously for more than 1 minute to prevent skin burns from high temperatures. 9. Do not leave lighters in high-temperature environments for long periods (50°C/122°F) or under direct sunlight, such as near stoves, enclosed outdoor vehicles, or trunks. 10. Due to climate conditions above 3000 meters, wind protection and direct-flame lighters may have reduced ignition performance. In such cases, use open-flame lighters. 11. For table-style and other types of lighters, clearly identify the flame hole, button, air inlet, and flame regulator to use them correctly. 12. Use qualified butane gas; inferior gas may damage the lighter or reduce its lifespan.
Adjust the flame
1. During use, as the gas content in the product decreases and the ambient temperature changes, the flame height may vary to some extent. This is a normal phenomenon, and you can adjust the flame height appropriately. 2. The normal flame height should be controlled as follows: for windproof and direct-flame lighters, it should be 1.5–2.5 centimeters; for Lansheng, gasoline, and open-flame lighters, it should be 2.5–4.0 centimeters. 3. If you need to adjust the flame height, use a flat screwdriver to align with the groove of the flame regulator. If the lighter comes with an adjustable ring, you can adjust it directly with your finger. Turn in the direction of the (-) arrow, i.e., clockwise, to lower the flame height; turn in the direction of the (+) arrow, i.e., counter-clockwise, to increase the flame height. Note: When rotating counter-clockwise, do not exceed half a circle from the normal flame height. Otherwise, it may damage this product. 4. Gasoline lighters should be adjusted by changing the height of the ignition wick. If the flame height is too high, cut off a small portion of the wick with scissors; if the flame height is too low, pull out the wick slightly.
Gasification Method
1. During gas filling, there must be no sparks or flames around to ensure safety. Do not smoke while filling gas. 2. Qualified butane gas should be used; inferior gas may damage the lighter or reduce its lifespan. 3. For standard models, turn the lighter upside down, align the gas cylinder outlet with the lighter’s air inlet, and press firmly for about 2 seconds each time. If gas cannot be added, excess air may be present in the tank—in this case, release air using a small screwdriver by targeting the air inlet and releasing it rapidly 1–2 times before refilling. 4. When using a Langsheng machine for gas filling, first loosen the air inlet screw cover with a flathead screwdriver or similar tool, then follow the above steps. After filling, rotate the screw cover smoothly without tightening it too much—over-tightening can cause the lid to not seal properly, resulting in dull sound and gas leakage. For premium Langsheng machines, use a dedicated gas nozzle for filling. 5. For gasoline-powered lighters, open the top cover, remove and reverse the mechanism, lift off the outer sponge, add an appropriate amount of gasoline until it penetrates the inner sponge, then cover the outer sponge and reinstall the mechanism. 6. After refueling any type of lighter, wait at least 1 minute for the new gas to reach room temperature, and allow any residual gas on the lighter surface to fully evaporate before igniting. If ignited immediately, the residual gas may ignite, causing unnecessary danger. If the flame height is too high or too low after refueling, it is normal—adjust the flame height as needed.
Loudly, replace the spark plug for the gas lighter
1. When lighting, there is too little sparks to ignite the gas. Consider replacing the flint; 2. Standard Langsheng machine: Press the button continuously to slide the slider down to the bottom of the cover, reverse the lighter, gently shake it, remove the old flint from the flint slot, and replace it with a new one; 3. Refined Langsheng machine and gasoline engine: The flint fastening screw on the refined Langsheng machine is located at the rear of the head cover, while that on the gasoline engine is at the bottom of the mechanism. When slowly removing the fastening screw with a flathead screwdriver, hold the screw firmly with your finger to prevent the spring below from pushing it away. After replacing the new flint, also protect the screw and spring with your finger when tightening the screw; 4. Verify correct operation: Light the device quickly by rubbing the flint. If a large amount of sparks are produced, it indicates the flint has been replaced correctly. Otherwise, adjust the screws appropriately to place the flint in the correct position, and then verify again.
maintenance and upkeep
1. Please store it in a place inaccessible to children; 2. Due to the use of high-pressure flammable gases, it is prohibited to strike or place it near fire. It should not be kept at temperatures above 55°C; 3. Do not rub it with other metals or objects, as this may damage the protective layer on its surface. It is forbidden to drop or throw this product, as this may cause damage to its structure and function; 4. This product is not waterproof. Please do not place it in water, acid, alkali, oily substances, or humid environments.
