According to the different weaving methods, it can be divided into machine-woven elastic bands, knitted elastic bands, and woven elastic bands:

 Woven elastic bands are made by interweaving cotton or synthetic yarns as warp and weft with a set of rubber threads (latex or spandex) in a certain pattern.

 Knitted elastic bands are woven using warp knitting with weft insertion. The warp threads are knotted into a braid under the action of the hook needles or tongue needles, with the weft threads interwoven within each braid, connecting the individual braids to form a band. The rubber threads are wrapped by the braids or held between two sets of weft threads. Knitted elastic bands can be woven with various small patterns, stripes, and crescent edges, with a loose and soft texture. Most of the raw materials are elastin yarns, and the products are mainly used in women's bra and underwear.

 Knitted Elastic Ribbon, also known as yarn-dyed elastic ribbon, is woven by the warp thread passing through the spindles around the rubber filament in an "8"-shaped track. The ribbon's pattern is in the shape of a human, and the width is usually between 0.3 to 2 centimeters. Its texture is somewhere between that of machine-woven and knitted elastic ribbons, and its variety of colors and patterns is relatively limited. It is often used in clothing.

It can be classified into the following types:

 The elastic band for sports is formed by weaving threads through a warp knitting machine. The warp yarns are wound into tubes and inserted into the fixed tooth seats of the weaving machine. The warp yarn tubes move along an 8-shaped track to rotate and move, pulling the threads through each other to weave.

 Medical supplies elastic band -- The pH value is between weak acidity and neutrality, will not cause itching of the skin, will not destroy the weak acidic environment of the skin surface.

 Nylon elastic band -- It has good elasticity and wear resistance in dry and wet conditions, is firmly sized with a low shrinkage rate, making it an excellent auxiliary material for clothing.

 Wide-width elastic band -------- is a flat-shaped elastic band woven by crossing the pulling yarns and having an odd number of spindles.

  Color-striped rigid bands -- can be single-sided jacquard or double-sided jacquard, elastic bands, with excellent texture, vibrant colors, and do not scratch clothing materials.

 Polyester elastic bands - are the ideal raw materials for knitted (warping, wefting) or woven processing, suitable for manufacturing clothing fabrics, bedding, and decoration supplies, etc.

 Elastic Cording -- Adopted by warp and weft knitting, it is formed by connecting the non-interlaced warp and weft with the help of the cylindrical loop of the looping yarn and the sinking arc, thus becoming a cording with warp and weft interlaced.

  New hole elastic band - also known as buttonhole elastic band or adjustable elastic band. The main raw materials are latex silk, low elastic silk, and are used in some cases for pregnant women's clothing, children's clothing, etc. to adjust the size.
