2. Manipulation

After the kite is slightly raised, if the area is spacious, one can run while releasing the string until the kite reaches a sufficient height with no tendency to fall, at which point the takeoff is considered successful. However, in strong wind conditions, the releaseer does not need to run, and the kite will rise on its own.

The operation of the launching or retracting line machine should be controlled carefully—when the wind weakens, it is necessary to quickly and forcefully retract the line frequently to provide additional wind assistance. If the kite string feels slightly heavier, seize the opportunity to launch it; if it feels lighter, stop launching.
