3.4 Seam Requirements

Basketweave wallpaper, made of natural materials and handmade, cannot match the pattern perfectly due to its handmade nature. This is a normal phenomenon. The construction personnel should explain this to the customer before construction begins, and after 2-3 panels have been installed, they should confirm with the customer. 3.5 Construction personnel should pay attention to the following matters when joining seams:

1. Use a sharp blade to sew, cut a seam, and then fold off a piece of the fabric to ensure that the cut seam does not crease or become fuzzy, and the force should also be avoided to cut the wall with the blade (please start cutting from the end of the fabric first).

2. When tearing the seam, apply thin glue and ensure that the glue does not overflow the edge. During the construction process, wear white gloves.

3. For large areas, use a hair brush (or a PVC brush wrapped with a dry towel) to scrape flat, and the partial loss of grass fibers does not affect the overall effect.

4. After applying glue to the seam, use a special soft pressure wheel to lightly press the middle of the seam to ensure that the seam is sealed, and use a sponge to absorb a small amount of excess glue (try to ensure that the glue does not overflow).

3.6 Tiling Requirements

1. When applying straw-weave wallpaper, the construction personnel should carefully smooth it from top to bottom. Due to the different shrinkage rates of the natural straw surface and the paper base, it is very likely to produce air bubbles and folds, and it requires patience to smooth it. At the same time, the construction personnel should handle the edges well to avoid the occurrence of edge lifting or even corner lifting.
