Operating is as simple as washing hair normally. Apply any cream-based skincare product to the skin areas that are easily exposed to the product, put on gloves, and wet your hair with your hands.

Wipe the water off with a towel, and squeeze the "One Wash Black" I/II number at a 1:1 ratio into your hands to fully mix. Long-haired people should use more, while short-haired people can use less (about twice as much as usual for first-time users).

Apply the product to the hair and rub it repeatedly, ensuring that 'Yishi Hei' (a blackening shampoo) is absorbed into the roots of each hair, especially the temples. Continue for 7-10 minutes until the foam is basically dry. Then, you can rinse it off.
