The basis for our “bonai's plates”, polycarbonate is a very tough and extremely shock-resistant plastic, manufactured especially to withstand demanding conditions. Our 1.4 and 2.6 mm polycarbonate (PC) boards are break-proof, hail-proof, and easy to handle, making them a clear choice for any project with demanding requirements for hail protection. You benefit from a superior quality roof; one that is sturdy, easy to use and also highly temperature-resistant. With numerous structures and tints for light panels, Gutta guarantees a pleasant lighting environment designed according to individual wishes.
Polycarbonate translucent corrugated sheets from Gutta combine a long service life with excellent UV protection and high transparency in a visually attractive roofing option. Gutta sheets can be used for any number of projects: high-quality, sturdy canopies, light strips, roofing and walls, or in the design of pergolas and carports. One tip: Our PC sheets are particularly well suited to objects with strict demands on hail protection.
A special advantage: We grant a 10 year warranty for our polycarbonate sheets. For PC sheets with a thickness of 1.4 mm, the warranty is valid for 10 years for light translucence and hail resistance for hail up to grain size max. 40 mm, while for our 2.6 mm plates the warranty is unrestricted for 10 years on light transmittance and hail resistance.
“Kirsty,” the female elephant from the Neunkirchen Zoo demonstrated the durability of our polycarbonate corrugated sheets in an “endurance test”: The sheets were able to bear even her 4.2 t weight effortlessly – in the truest sense of the word:
Working with our plates is a simple task. The plates are attached with the appropriate calottes, along with stainless steel screws and spacers. With our step-by-step instructions, it is quite simple to lay corrugated sheets:
