Module Name: 400W Boost Constant-Current Module
Module Characteristics: Non-Isolated Boost Converter (BOOST)
Input Voltage: DC8.5V-50V
Input Current: 15A (MAX). If the current exceeds 8A or the module temperature exceeds 65 degrees, please strengthen heat dissipation.
Static Operating Current: Approximately 10mA (measured when 12V is boosted to 20V; the higher the output voltage, the greater the static current will be).
Output Voltage: 10-60V Continuously Adjustable (Suitable for applications where the input voltage is lower than the output voltage.)
Output Current: 12A MAX. If the current exceeds 7A or the module temperature exceeds 65 degrees, please strengthen heat dissipation (related to the input and output pressure difference, the larger the pressure difference, the smaller the output current)
Constant-current range: 0.2-12A
Output maximum power: = Input voltage * 10A, for example: Input 12V * 5A = 60W, Input 24V * 5A = 120W,
Input: 36V*5A=180W, Input: 48V*5A=240W,
Working frequency: 150 kHz
Conversion Efficiency: Up to 96% (Efficiency depends on input and output voltage, current, and voltage difference).
Overcurrent protection: Yes (If the input exceeds 15A, the output voltage will be automatically reduced within a certain range of error.)
Input reverse polarity protection: None, (If required, please insert a diode in series with the input).
Installation Method: 4 2.5mm Screw Holes
Wiring Method: Terminal Block
Output anti-reflux protection: none; if used for charging or with a self-generated electrical load, an additional diode is required.
Module size: Length 67mm, width 48mm, height 28mm
Module net weight: approximately 86 grams
Output voltage/current regulation method:
1. Adjust the output voltage potentiometer (counterclockwise increases voltage, clockwise decreases voltage), according to your load requirements, set the output voltage to the voltage value you need. For example, if you have 10 strings of LEDs, adjust the voltage to 37V. (Adjust the voltage counterclockwise to increase, clockwise to decrease).
2. Adjust the output current potentiometer clockwise about 30 times to set the output current to the minimum. Connect the LED and adjust the current potentiometer to the required current. For battery charging, after the battery is fully discharged, connect it to the output and adjust the current. (For charging, it must be used to adjust the fully discharged battery, because the more remaining electricity in the battery, the smaller the charging current.) (Forwards for smaller current, backwards for larger current).
Please do not adjust the current by short-circuiting, and the circuit structure of the boost module cannot be adjusted by short-circuiting.
Application scope:
1. DIY a stable power supply, input 12V, output adjustable from 12V to 50V.
2. Power your electronic devices, and you can set the output value according to your system voltage.
3. As a vehicle-mounted power supply, it can power your laptop, PDA, or various digital products.
4. Make a high-power portable laptop power bank: Equipped with a large-capacity 12V lithium-ion battery pack, so your laptop can light up anywhere you go.
5. Stabilizing the voltage of solar panels.
6. Charging batteries such as lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
7. Drive high-power LED lights.
