Basic working principle:

when the vehicle system fails, the malfunction (MIL) light or check engine light is on, and the power assembly control module (PCM) stores the malfunction information in the memory, the device reads the fault code from PCM, and determines the nature and location of the fault quickly and accurately according to the prompt of the fault code.
