1Introduction

This product is based on the GSM/GPRS network and GPS satellite positioning system, which can be used to locate or monitor remote targets through short messages, mobile phone apps, or the web. It is a dual-positioning system that combines GPS and AGPS, with a built-in large capacity battery that offers a long standby time of up to 90 days. It is a portable GPS tracker that does not require installation and has a strong magnetic attachment.

2.SIMThe placement of cards

Attention:

1. Please use a GSM SIM card from China Mobile or China Unicom.

3.Device Start

The device automatically powers on when the card is inserted, and the indicator light turns on, indicating that the device has started working.

After powering on for 30 seconds, activate the use of GPRS according to the 4.0 settings.

When GPS signal is available, the device automatically performs GPS positioning. When there is no GPS signal, the device automatically switches to LBS positioning.

The device will automatically start working when it senses vibration, and if there is no vibration for 5 minutes, it will enter a power-saving sleep mode.

When the SIM card is removed, the device automatically turns off.

4.0Activate device to start positioning

Activate the device and send a text message to turn on GPRS.

Send" "gprs123456" "to the device's card number.

After the locator blinks blue and green light alternately, you can query the location of the locator. There are four query methods: mobile phone APP, website platform, WeChat, and SMS.

4.1 Use the mobile phone APP to determine the location

1. Android phones: Scan the QR code to choose Android to download and install software to your phone, or search for "TKSTAR GPS" in the Android Market to download and install it to your phone.

2. Apple phones: Scan the QR code to choose iPhone to download and install software to the phone, or search for "TKSTAR GPS" in the store to download and install to the phone.

3. Select the "IMEI number login" at the bottom right.

Password: Default 123456 (You can log in to the platform to change the password).

Real-time tracking: Display the last location of the device, dial the phone number inside the device to wake it up, and the device will automatically update its location to the latest position.

Historical Trajectory: Query the historical trajectory of the device by time period. (The error of LBS base station data is relatively large, you can choose to filter it or not).

Electronic Fence: Set up a fence. When the device enters or exits the fence, send an alarm to the APP and the platform.

Command issued: Set the product parameter function of the device.

Device Information: Edit device information.

Device Message: Display the alarm information generated by the device.

Peripheral navigation: Navigate to nearby public places.

Alarm Reminder: The APP pushes the alarm information.

Offline Maps: After downloading the offline map, the APP buffers faster.

4.2 Using Platform Positioning

1. Open the website:www.mytkstar.netSelect Chinese language.

2. Choose: "IMEI/ID number"

4.3 Using WeChat Location

1. Use WeChat search to add the public account.MYTKSTAROr scan the QR code to add.

4.4 Using SMS positioning

Send" G123456# "to the device's phone number, and you will receive a google link with latitude and longitude information.

Note 1: After setting the language to Chinese, dialing the device's phone number will only wake the device and not reply to messages. (Default to English when factory-set)

2. All alarm information is sent to the main control number, and alarm information without a main control number is only sent to the platform.

3. Time dormancy is a single-shot positioning mode, while vibration dormancy is a continuous positioning mode.

4. Time Sleep: The device will enter a sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity by default. Text messages and phone calls can wake the device up for 5 minutes of operation.

5. Vibration Sleep (Default Operating Mode): If the device does not detect vibration for 5 consecutive minutes, it will enter a sleep mode. Vibration, SMS, and phone calls can wake the device up for 5 minutes of operation.

Note: SMS location information is not available in mainland China due to Google's exit from the region. For Android phones, you can choose to open the Amap map, and use latitude and longitude to find other query websites on Baidu. 6.Notes

1.Only GPS signals can be received outdoors, so use GPS for positioning.

2.Confirm that the SIM card has a balance and has the functions of calling, sending texts, and GPRS internet access.

3.Confirm that the call display has been enabled and the call forwarding has been disabled.

4.Insert the GSM SIM card correctly, do not disassemble or repair the equipment without authorization.

5.If you leave it for a long time, please charge it once every 6 months.

6.Please use the factory default 'standby mode' under normal circumstances. The power consumption is the largest under the 'continuous positioning mode', and it is generally not recommended to use it.

7.Common fault treatment methods

1. Unable to power on

Instructions: Please check if the device battery is charged, and the card insertion indicator light will turn on.

2. The device indicates that it is turned off or unreachable.

Instructions: Check if the SIM card is properly inserted, ensure that the SIM card is compatible with GSM networks, do not enable PIN protection, and do not enable call forwarding.

3. No GPS signal

Instructions: The device must be placed in an unobstructed location to ensure normal GPS signal reception.

4. The device on the platform cannot display the location.

Instructions: Please send the message 'gprs123456' to activate GPRS, and confirm if the card has the GPRS internet function and the associated costs.

5. Not responding to calls or being unable to receive alarm texts

Explanation: The setting of the central number is incorrect or no central number has been set.

Device is online, but when setting instructions through the APP, it shows "Device is offline, delivery failed."

Instruction: The device has entered a dormant state and needs to be awakened by vibration.
