Instructions:
1. Product Introduction:
Easy to use, accurate measurement data, fully metal construction, and durable. This digital sphygmomanometer is a model designed specifically for home users by a medical device manufacturer that produces desktop sphygmomanometers. It is compact and portable, with high measurement accuracy. Its usage method and accuracy are identical to those of the mercury desktop sphygmomanometers used by doctors in hospitals.
2. Working Principle:
The pressure measurement at the affected area is achieved by inflating and pressing with an arm strap, thereby blocking the current, and then the gas in the arm strap is released to allow blood to flow again. Blood pressure measurement is determined based on the sound of blood flow or the changes in vibration of the blood vessel arms during this re-flow.

6. Product Features:
A blood pressure monitor is a diagnostic device used to measure human blood pressure. It features a small size and easy portability. Its performance is identical to that of a mercury column sphygmomanometer, and it uses a silver-free design, making the measurement reliable and suitable for home use.
7. Precautions for measuring blood pressure:
Blood pressure should be measured in a quiet environment. Since blood pressure levels in the human body fluctuate throughout the day, it is best to perform the measurement at the same time every day. The person being measured should remain calm and relaxed, without talking or moving around. It is advisable to wear loose clothing.
8. Measurement Method:
8.1. Before the blood pressure monitor is put into use, it must be inspected first. A blood pressure monitor that can be used normally should have the dial pointing at the “0” position, respond flexibly under pressure, and be able to return to the “0” position.
8.2. The participant is asked to sit next to the table and place their left arm on the table, maintaining a certain posture.
8.3. Adjust the arm to be at the same height as the heart; if the height is insufficient, add a soft cushion under the arm.
8.4. Flatten the arm strap so that the middle part of the air tube faces the brachial artery. Tie the lower edge of the arm strap at a position 2 to 3 centimeters above the elbow fossa on the upper arm. It should not be too tight or too loose; ideally, two fingers can be inserted under the strap to avoid affecting accuracy.
8.5. Insert the stethoscope tip into the arm strap and position it over the brachial artery at the elbow.
8.6. Slowly inflate the arm strap using a latex ball, while monitoring closely. Stop inflating when the brachial artery pulse disappears, and increase the pressure to 2.5 kPa–4 kPa (20 mmHg–30 mmHg).
8.7. After the pressure is stopped, slowly release the air from the arm strap at a rate of 0.3 kPa–0.6 kPa (2 mmHg–4 mmHg) to allow the blood pressure gauge needle to gradually drop.
8.8. The pressure value indicated by the clock hand when a heartbeat sound is heard via stethoscope during the descent process is known as systolic pressure.
8.9. When the pulsatile sound turns into a murmur after gradually intensifying, the pitch suddenly becomes muffled and gradually disappears. When no sound is heard, it is referred to as diastolic pressure.
When measuring blood pressure, it is generally recommended to repeat the measurement 2 to 3 times, and then average the readings to determine the blood pressure value.
