A single alcohol meter for spirits ranging from 0 to 100 degrees – one unit is convenient and easy to use for measuring spirits within this range! There are also single units for 0 to 70 degrees; please feel free to purchase them. When ordering, please indicate whether you need the 0 to 100 degrees or 0 to 70 degrees version.

Purpose: The alcohol meter is primarily used by wineries, specialized units, and chemical factories for measuring the alcohol content in various edible spirits and alcohol solutions.
A spirit meter is usually used to measure alcohol content; it is also known as an alcohol hydrometer. A spirit meter is designed based on the principle that different alcohol concentrations result in different densities, and the volume displaced by the floating object in the liquid varies accordingly. When the spirit meter is placed in the liquid, the higher the alcohol concentration, the more it sinks and the lower its density; conversely, the lower the alcohol concentration, the less it sinks and the higher its density.
When measuring the alcohol content, pour some alcohol into the measuring cylinder. Be careful not to fill it too full. Then place the thermometer and alcohol meter inside the cylinder without touching its walls. Wait for a moment, then look at the temperature and alcohol content directly. Use the “Alcohol Content and Temperature Conversion Table” to determine the standard (alcohol content at 20°C). When using an alcohol meter to measure the alcohol content, note that due to surface tension, a meniscus will form at the point where the alcohol surface contacts the long axis of the meter. Therefore, when reading the value, use the horizontal plane as the reference.
