Low-smoke, halogen-free cable

Low-smoke, non-halogenated cables refer to eco-friendly cables made from rubber materials that do not contain halogens (F, Cl, Br, I, At), lead, cadmium, chromium, or mercury, and which do not emit toxic smoke during combustion (such as hydrogen halides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc.).

● Among them, the halogens are specified as follows: the value for all halogens ≤ 50 PPM (in accordance with regulation PREN 1 45 82)

● The content of hydrogen halide gas produced after combustion is <100PPM (in accordance with regulation EN5067-2-1)

● The pH value of the hydrogen halide gas produced after combustion and dissolved in water is ≥4.3 (weakly acidic) (in accordance with regulation EN-50267-2-2)

● After burning in a sealed container, the product allows light to pass through with a transmittance of ≥60% (per regulation EN-50268-2)

● Pb: <90 PPM; Cd, Cr6+, Hg, PBBs, and PBDEs are all less than 5 PPM. Application: This product possesses excellent flame retardant properties. It produces minimal smoke during combustion and does not emit corrosive gases. It is widely used in nuclear power plants, subway stations, telephone exchanges and computer control centers, high-rise buildings, hotels, broadcasting stations, important military facilities, oil platforms, and other locations where people gather in large numbers and air density is low.
