Product Usage Brief
Charge Mode
1. When the charger is connected to the power supply, all LCD screens on the charger will light up instantly. If the battery is not inserted, it will display "Null", and if a defective battery is inserted, it will also display "Null".
2. When the charger is inserted into the battery, the charger measures the internal resistance of the battery within about 3 seconds. After that, the system automatically enters the charging current selection mode. The screen flashes the word "500mA" for 8 seconds. During this time, you can choose the current of 500mA or 1000 mA by pressing the mode key. After 8 seconds, the system will lock in the current you choose for charging. If no setting is made within 8 seconds, the system will charge with the current of 500mA. At this point, the current will no longer be changeable. If you want to change it, you need to reset the battery.
3. Users should note the maximum charging current for the rechargeable battery. If not requiring rapid charging, it is recommended to use a 500mA charge, which is the safest and most beneficial for the battery.
4. In charging mode, you can switch to view the charging capacity (mAh), charging time (h), battery internal resistance (mR), and charging current (mA) by lightly pressing the Mode button. There are four units. After the battery is fully charged, it will display 'Full', and the bottom row of small characters will display 'charge End' (charging is complete).
Discharge Mode (Capacity Detection Mode)
1. Discharge Mode involves first fully charging the battery, then discharging it and recording the amount of electricity discharged to detect the battery's capacity, followed by automatically recharging the battery to full.
2. Enter the Discharge mode – After measuring the internal resistance of the battery in the charger, long-press the mode button for 3 seconds to enter the Discharge mode at any state.
3. Select the current for charging – After entering the Discharge mode, the screen will display the word "500mA" flashing for 8 seconds. During this time, you can choose the current of 500mA or 1000 mA by pressing the mode key. After 8 seconds, the system will lock in the current you have chosen. If no setting is made within these 8 seconds, the system will automatically lock the current at 500mA for charging the battery (the selected current is the current the system will use to charge the battery).
4. Battery Discharge - After the battery is fully charged, the system automatically discharges the battery at a current of 500mA and records the discharged electricity to detect the battery capacity. When the screen shows "Discharher and" (放电中), the capacity detection mode ends. The flashing electricity parameter on the screen at this time is the actual capacity of the battery.
5. Recharge again – After the capacity detection mode ends, the charger will recharge the battery again with the selected current parameters until it is fully charged.
USB 5V OUT
1. USB is only used as a boost output, with an output current of 1000mA. Connecting the power input to the USB output is ineffective.
2. When the battery is about to be charged and activated, it can then supply power to 5V electronic products.
3. The product has two battery slots, and either one can be used for USB boost output. It is recommended to place batteries in both slots.
4. USB 5V Boost is only effective for 3.7V lithium batteries, and NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) boost is ineffective.
Warning: This product does not support charging with lithium iron phosphate batteries.
