Leak prevention for high-pressure hose fittings

In hydraulic systems, whether it is metal pipe fittings or hose fittings, there is a risk of simple leakage. For socket union fittings, leakage usually occurs due to significant external force or impact on the pipeline, which causes the socket to loosen or the pipe end to deform. In such cases, it is necessary to check whether the socket has lost its roundness, whether the cutting edge is damaged, whether the pipe end is intact, and the tightness of the socket nut. Additionally, the external force on the pipeline must be removed. For flare fittings, leakage often results from excessive flaring, substandard quality, or repeated disassembly, leading to deformation or cracks in the flare. In this case, the front end can be cut off and re-flared. If male and female cones are used for sealing by pressing, leakage is mostly caused by damage to the cone surfaces, and the surfaces can be polished with grinding sand.
