Hand-cranked generator course presentation materials
The speed output by the motor is constant. Speed conversion can be easily achieved through reduction gears and shafts. For example, a small gear is connected to the motor output shaft and meshes with a larger gear. As a result, the rotational angular velocity of the larger gear decreases. By connecting this shaft to another small gear, the linear tangential velocity also becomes lower.
Gearboxes are generally used in transmission equipment that requires low speed and high torque. They enable the reduction of power from a motor, internal combustion engine, or other high-speed machinery by engaging fewer teeth on the input shaft of the gearbox with larger gears on the output shaft, thereby achieving deceleration. Ordinary gearboxes also use several pairs of gears based on the same principle to achieve an optimal reduction effect. The ratio of the number of teeth between the large and small gears is known as the transmission ratio.
Clearance fit is a fit where there is clearance (including zero clearance). In this case, the tolerance zone of the hole lies above the tolerance zone of the shaft. Interference fit is a fit where there is interference (including zero interference). In this case, the tolerance zone of the hole lies below the tolerance zone of the shaft. Transition fit is a fit that may have either clearance or interference. In this case, the tolerance zones of the hole and shaft overlap each other.
This course includes three sets of theories: 1. Deceleration gear theory 2. Generator theory 3. Electric energy storage, and half-wave rectification charge and discharge theory
Experiment Objective: 1. To understand the structure and principles of gears
2. Recognize the importance of generator applications in human life and social development, and understand the continuous advancement of technology.
