Acetic acid cloth tape is divided into rubber-type acetic acid cloth and acrylic acid-type acetic acid cloth based on the type of adhesive. According to the requirements of different electrical products, flame retardants need to be added, and the base material needs to be flame retardant processed. The finished product can achieve self-extinguishing (fire prevention) effect when the flame is removed, which is called "flame-retardant acetic acid cloth"; the products that have not added flame retardants will burn when ignited and cannot automatically extinguish, which is called "non-flame-retardant acetic acid cloth tape". In general, the acetic acid cloth base material and the adhesive itself cannot be fire-resistant, and special processing is needed to achieve the "flame-retardant" effect.
The acetate fabric has strong moisture absorption and breathability, good rebound, easy cleaning and drying, does not generate static electricity or fuzz, and has excellent aging resistance, lasting for more than 15 years. The acetate tape made from acetate fabric has high-temperature resistance, anti-aging, soft and comfortable, good shape retention, easy punching and unwinding, acid and alkali resistance, and anti-mold properties. Its insulation performance is superior to that of general glass fiber cloth and glass cloth, and it is widely used in the manufacturing fields of televisions, transformers, air conditioners, computers, etc.
With the rise of environmental awareness worldwide, customers are constantly proposing new requirements for the environmental protection of acetate fabric. So far, acetate fabric tape meets the Sony SS-00259 standard requirements for the electronic industry, meets the EU RoHS requirements, meets the EU REACH requirements, meets the requirement for not containing 6P of o-phthalate, and meets the EU requirement for not containing halogens. Moreover, the products have passed the UL certification.
