For example
If the battery is 12V / 60AH, can I use a 2000W inverter and a 500W hard drill?
1. Firstly, the maximum battery charger is: 12 * 60 * 0.8 = 576W, >500W.
2. Determine whether the appliance is a resistive appliance or an inductive appliance: a hand drill is an inductive drill.
3. The continuous power of the hand drill is 500W, and the continuous time of 2000W is 1000W, and the power is greater than 500W.
The starting power is generally about 3 times (the starting power of the Dofon appliance varies), so 500W x 3 = 1500W, and the starting power of the 2000W inverter is 2000W, > 1500W. Therefore, the 500W hand drill can be used with a 12V / 60AH battery and a 2000W inverter.

How to Choose the Right Battery for an Inverter
Working hours = U (voltage) × I (battery capacity) × 0.8 × 0.9 ÷ power
Example: 12V 50AH battery with a 220V 100W bulb
Working time = 12V x 50AH x 0.8 x 0.9 ÷ 100W = 4.32 (hours)
Note: 0.8 is the battery discharge coefficient (constant), and 0.9 is the inverter's conversion efficiency (constant).
