Usage
Mainly matched with the medical center oxygen supply system, it is used for emergency oxygen supply and oxygen inhalation for patients with anoxia in medical institutions, scientific research institutions, and mining industries. The oxygen inhalation device has accurate flow control and is convenient, safe to use. It is an essential equipment for oxygen therapy in hospital emergency rooms and wards.
Working Principle
The function of an oxygen inhaler is to provide continuous, constant pressure and flow of oxygen for patients. Bottle-mounted oxygen inhalers use their own pressure reduction devices to reduce the high pressure in the oxygen bottle (full pressure of 15Mpa) to low pressure suitable for human use (0.2 to 0.2Mpa), and then output it to the body after being moistened by water. Wall-plug oxygen inhalers, however, do not require pressure reduction as the input pressure is already 0.2 to 0.4Mpa, and they can directly output it to the body.
Operation Method:
1. Add distilled water to the humidification cup, and the water level in the bottle cannot exceed the upper water line, but it cannot be lower than the lower water line. It is prohibited to use saline solution instead.
2. Before inserting the inhaler into the oxygen supply terminal socket, it is necessary to first turn off the flow regulation switch and adjust the direction of the oxygen quick plug. Then, insert the quick plug into the hole of the oxygen supply terminal socket, and when you hear a "click" sound and see the locking sleeve of the oxygen supply terminal socket automatically slide, it indicates that the quick plug has been connected and locked to the oxygen supply terminal socket.
3. Before oxygenation, insert the oxygen inlet tube into the oxygen supply connector, and then turn the flow regulator clockwise to start the oxygen source, allowing the float ball to slowly rise (the flow reading is indicated by the scale line the center of the float ball is aligned with, in units of liters per minute). The oxygen supply can be adjusted according to need.
4. During the oxygen supply process, if the water in the inhaler bottle is lower than the lower water line, it should be stopped immediately and the flow regulation switch should be turned off. The wetting bottle should be removed, and distilled water should be added according to the requirements of the first item of this section. After the inhaler bottle is screwed back on, oxygen supply should continue.
5. When the inhaler is not in use, the air source of the inhaler should be turned off. If it needs to be removed, the inhaler should be held by hand and removed backward (the unlocking method of different oxygen terminal sockets is explained by the engineering installation unit), and then the water in the bottle body is discarded for disinfection and cleaning. After that, it should be stored in a room with no corrosion and good ventilation.
