Applicable Scope
The GW4-12 (15, 40.5, 72.5) series of outdoor high-voltage AC isolation switches are suitable for installation in outdoor AC 50Hz power systems with a rated voltage of 12kV and 40.5kV, respectively. They are used for circuit opening and closing when the line is under voltage and without load. The product meets the requirements of GB1985 and other relevant standards.
Structural Characteristics
The isolation switch is composed of a base, insulating pillars, conductive parts, and operating mechanisms, etc. Each pole has two pillars, and at the upper end of each pillar, there are conductive switches. The contact points of the switches are located in the middle of the two pillars. At the lower end of each pillar, there are bearing sleeves. With the drive of the operating mechanism, the switches can be rotated horizontally by 90° to achieve the requirements of opening and closing.
The isolation switch is of the single-pole type, but it can also be connected by a lever to form a three-pole type that can be operated in tandem. It is operated by a CS11 type or a CS8-6D type manual mechanism.
Among them, CS17 is used for isolation switches with dual grounding devices. (Can be equipped with electric actuators as needed).
This isolation switch has a rational structure and operates with flexibility; it can be used for single-pole or three-pole operation, and is easy to install; the contact distance is large, and the insulation is safe and reliable.
It can also be configured without grounding, or with a single-sided grounding or dual grounding as per user's requirements.
Use Environment Conditions
1、Altitude: no more than 3000m;
2. The upper limit of the surrounding air temperature is 40°C, and the lower limit is -40°C.
3、Wind speed does not exceed 35m/s.
4. No conductive dust or chemical corrosive gases, nor severe vibration.
5. Areas without fire or explosion hazards.
6、污秽等级不超过三级；
7. The earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees.
