2. Technology: Whether to use press molding or injection molding is also a critical factor. Press molding is a simple and cost-effective process for cup production, whereas injection molding is the opposite. However, injection molded ceramic cups offer a variety of shapes and are creative and personalized. If you are looking for a novel and unique appearance, injection molding is the preferred technology.
3. Color: Should we make white cups or colored cups? A colored cup is a ceramic cup with a colorful glaze, which adds a rich color to the cup by mixing different inorganic pigments. However, cups with glaze are not as healthy as white cups. Therefore, the colored glaze can be applied only to the outside of the cup, leaving the inside white, which can effectively avoid the toxicity of the glaze.
4. Size and Capacity: This is the core of the ceramic cup customization process. Generally, the upper and lower diameters, cup height, and capacity are determined, along with the shape of the cup handle. The design staff at the factory can then make the mold for the cup based on these details. Injection molding for non-standard shapes requires more dimensions for the cup body, and the specific dimensions needed depend on the shape of the cup. 5. Logo: This refers to the baked pattern on the cup body, including the bottom label and inner label, etc. The size of the logo, whether it is single-sided or double-sided, and the color are all factors that determine the price.
6. Minimum Order Quantity: The minimum order quantity for ordinary porcelain cups is 5,000, while the minimum order quantity for bone china cups is 3,000. For some common cup shapes, such as the 8×8×9.5cm ordinary 7102 ceramic cups or reinforced porcelain snap-on cups, the minimum order quantity can be relaxed to 2,000. If the order quantity is too small, it is difficult to coordinate the material arrangement, which will result in higher costs.
7. Packing Method: The existing packaging methods include egg boxes, white boxes, color boxes, PVC boxes, and kraft paper boxes, etc., and can be customized according to customer requirements.
