Silicone mold cleaning and maintenance

1. Before the first use, you can clean it with water or detergent to remove the dust on the surface. Before baking, you can apply a little butter to the inside of the mold. When using a multi-cup mold, if there are empty slots, you can add water to the empty slots, but do not allow the mold to be empty.

2. After each use, soak in diluted detergent for 10-30 minutes. When cleaning, use soft cloths and avoid using rough cleaning sponges or similar items to prevent scratches on the mold. After cleaning, allow to dry and place in a storage box. Silicone is prone to static electricity, which can attract tiny particles and dust in the air. Do not leave it exposed to the air for long periods of time when not in use.

3. When using the oven, ensure that the mold is placed in the center of the oven, about 10cm away from the heating elements, and about 5cm away from the oven walls to prevent damage from high temperatures.

4. Some of the molds have cracks. These are pre-cut openings that were made at the factory to facilitate the removal of the molds by the buyer. Without these cuts, it would be impossible to remove the molds. When using the molds, align the cuts, cover them with plastic wrap or put rubber bands around them, and then pour the liquid into them.
