TPO Waterproof Membrane is a type of thermoplastic polyolefin waterproof membrane. It is a new type of waterproof membrane made from a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) synthetic resin as the base material, which combines ethylene-propylene rubber with polypropylene through a polymerization technology. It is also made by adding antioxidants, anti-aging agents, and softeners. It can be reinforced with polyester fiber mesh to make an enhanced waterproof membrane, which belongs to the category of synthetic polymer waterproof membranes.
Product Specifications:
The products are categorized as follows: H class (glossy finish), L class (with cloth), and P class (internal reinforcement).
Specifications: 20 meters long x 2.05 meters wide (customizable)
Commonly used colors: white, gray (customizable)
Thickness options include: 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 2.0mm.
Performance Features:
TPO waterproof membrane combines the performance advantages of EPDM and PVC, with the former's weather resistance, low temperature flexibility, and the latter's weldability. This material differs from traditional plastics, showing rubber-like high elasticity at room temperature and being moldable like plastic at high temperatures. Therefore, this material has excellent processing and mechanical properties, and strong welding performance. When a layer of polyester fiber fabric is added between two layers of TPO material, it can enhance the physical properties, increase the breaking strength, resistance to aging, and puncture resistance. In practical applications, this product has anti-aging, high tensile strength, large elongation, can be constructed on wet roofs, does not require a protective layer when exposed, is convenient to construct, and is environmentally friendly. It is suitable for use as a lightweight energy-saving roof waterproof layer.

1. Clean the base surface thoroughly.
2. When installing large-area waterproof membrane, the long edge of the membrane should overlap by at least 70mm, and the short edge should overlap by at least 80mm.
3. The short edge joints of adjacent rolls of material should be misaligned by more than 300mm to avoid multiple layers of overlapped joints, which may cause the adhesive to be uneven. Refer to the material overlap for details.
4. When laying on a damp base, the base should be flat and solid, with no standing water.
5. The long edges of the membrane should use self-adhesive edges for overlap, and the short edges should use adhesive tape for overlap. The overlap areas at the ends of the membrane should be mutually offset.
6. When constructing the elevation, mechanical fixation should be performed every 400~600 mm within a distance of 10~20 mm from the edge of the membrane at the self-adhesive edge position, and the fixed position should be covered.
Applicable scope: suitable for drinking water reservoirs, bathrooms, basements, tunnels, grain warehouses, etc.
Subway, reservoirs, and other waterproof and moisture-proof engineering projects.
