bcup-2 phos-copper (bcup-2) is a low-cost alloy suitable for most copper-to-copper or brass joints where good fit-up is ensured, and the assemblies are not subjected to vibration or movement. primarily developed for use on copper, this alloy can also be used on other non-ferrous copper-based alloys. due to its phosphorus content, this product is self-fluxing when used on copper applications only.
a flux should be used when brazing brass or bronze with this product.
