Fault Diagnosis:
The capacitor is for the compressor start-up. If the compressor doesn't work, that's the problem. Generally, if the air conditioner doesn't cool, it's either because the Freon has run out or the compressor isn't working. If the Freon was recently charged, it's usually a problem with the capacitor or the compressor. If the external unit's large fan isn't spinning, it's likely a problem with the fan capacitor. Please contact customer service for the link to the fan capacitor.
