Lamp Shade Replacement Method
The common problem with headlights is that the light cover easily turns yellow and gets scratches. This product is made of imported PC material, which has been hardened and treated to prevent corrosion and cracking. To solve the problem of light cover turning yellow without replacing the entire headlight, replacing the cover directly is an economical and practical method!
Disassembly and Assembly Method:
First, heat the sharp corner of the headlight with a hot air gun until it feels slightly hot when you touch it with gloves. Stop when it's hot! (Note: the temperature should not be too high to prevent damaging the headlight).
Next, while it's still warm, grab the sharp corners with both hands and pull firmly. After the corner slightly separates, continue to heat the seams of the entire headlight with a heat gun. After the heating is complete, quickly pull that corner hard, but be careful not to overdo it (especially for those with strong hands): it's important to be gentle but firm. If it goes well, the headlight cover will be opened. If not, continue to heat the unseparated areas with the heat gun and keep pulling!
If you're fairly skilled, it should take just one minute from heating to prying open—provided (you have at least a little strength in your hands and don't mind putting some effort into it. Just pull hard. The glue is quite easy to pry open).
Please note: We recommend that you allow the vehicle to dry in a well-ventilated environment for three to five days before loading it. Do not wash or allow it to rain within one week, to prevent water from seeping in.
