Introduction to Carbonless Paper
There are specifications for both positive and large sizes, but there are distinctions between upper, middle, and lower paper, with different paper prices (see paper price classification).This kind of paper looks no different from ordinary paper at first glance, but it can be used for copying, producing the same effect as blue carbon paper, and it will not stain fingers and clothing, making it more convenient and hygienic. Since this paper does not use carbon components for copying, it is named "non-carbon copy paper".It is known as carbonless paper.
When using documents printed on carbonless paper, there is usually a small piece of cardboard placed between the sheets to prevent excessive writing pressure from transferring to the other sheets underneath!
Carbonless copy paper does not require the use of colored wax. Even without waxed copy paper, it can be copied due to the presence of chemical substances. Multiple sheets of carbonless paper can be stacked together and directly printed or written to reproduce multiple copies of a single document. It is convenient and clean, and can also be made into tooth hole-style blank computer printing paper to achieve efficient and continuous printing and copying. The production of carbonless paper is very important.
Carbonless Principle
Carbonless paper is divided into top sheet, middle sheet, and bottom sheet. On the next page of the top sheet and the middle sheet, there is a kind of medicine, and on the previous page of the middle sheet and the bottom sheet, there is another chemical medicine. When combined in the order of top, middle, and bottom, under the impact of the printing needle or the pressure of the tip, the two different medicines will meet and show wonderful traces, thus achieving the purpose of duplication.
The top page of the paper is called CB paper, which only has CB medicine on its next page and is called the CB side; the bottom page of the paper is called CF paper, which only has CF medicine on its previous page and is called the CF side; the middle page of the paper is called CFB paper, which has CF medicine on its previous page and CB medicine on its next page. The dyeing of carbonless paper is very important. CB medicine is a coating containing capsules, adhesive and additives. The particle size of the capsule is only 3~7цm, and the shell is made of resin, containing solvent oil containing a colorless dye. When the capsule is damaged by external force, the dye oil will flow out. If the CB side is pasted on the CF side at this time, the dye oil on the carbonless duplicating paper will flow to the CF side to make the CF medicine show, and the CF medicine is a coating containing a colorant, adhesive, and additives, with the colorant mainly being certain resins and activated clay.
There are roughly 5 colors of carbonless paper; white/red/blue/green/yellow, etc., which serve to distinguish the joint documents!
