The difference between an aromatherapy diffuser and a humidifier.

1. Material

Common humidifiers use ABS or AS plastic for the water tank, which is not resistant to the corrosion of essential oils. Long-term use can lead to corrosion of the tank, resulting in rupture, and there is a possibility of releasing toxic gases into the air, affecting health. Most aromatherapy machines use PP material, and the chips, chip keys, and atomization sheets are specifically developed for essential oils, which can withstand oil, water, and chemical corrosion. Therefore, using essential oils in an aromatherapy machine can better utilize each drop of essential oil, and it can quickly disperse the extremely fine aromatic molecules to every corner. It can be used safely and confidently.

In layman's terms: the high-grade materials used in aromatherapy machines are safer and better than those made from ordinary materials.

2. Technology

Ultrasonic humidifiers may not have sufficient power to fully dissolve and release essential oils, potentially leading to some of the oils remaining on the tank walls, wasting the essential oils. Ultrasonic diffusers use ultrasonic vibration technology to atomize water molecules into nanometer-level droplets, resulting in uniform and smaller mist particles that stay in the air for a longer time, effectively dispersing essential oils throughout the air, allowing us to bathe in a fragrant atmosphere. Therefore, ultrasonic diffusers not only produce negative ions but also have a humidifying function. Humidifiers, on the other hand, produce larger mist particles that stay in the air for a shorter time.

When using essential oils, remember to choose water-soluble essential oils or high-quality essential oils.

3. Use

General humidifiers, due to their average materials, tend to accumulate dirt easily after use, making it difficult to clean them thoroughly with cleaning liquid. The atomization chip may also become clogged or degrade over time. However, the water tank of an aromatherapy machine has undergone special processing techniques, making it both convenient to use and to clean.
