Kiting Basics:
1. When the wind is 2-4 grades, kite flying does not need to ask for help. You can hold the kite string and run against the wind, watching until you feel the wind is strong enough, and then stop to slowly let out the line. Beginners are recommended to have someone help hold the kite high, and the kite line should be about 10-30 meters long. Wait for a gust of wind, and quickly let the partner holding the kite release it (do not throw it up), and the person who is flying the kite should run and control the kite while watching it take off. They must slowly run to make the kite slowly rise.
2. When the wind is not strong enough, quickly retract the line backward, and give artificial wind. If you feel that the kite line has tension, you should grasp the opportunity to let out the line. If the kite shows a trend of falling, you must quickly retract some of the kite line until the kite can hold up in the sky without falling.
3. When the wind suddenly intensifies and the kite starts to sway and tilt too much, there are two control methods: one is to quickly let out the line. The other is to quickly run a few steps towards the kite, which can moderate its momentum.
4. When the wind stops and the kite falls down, you can gently shake the kite a few times or quickly run backward. If there is no way to retreat, you can handle it by quickly reeling in the line.
5. If two kites get their lines tangled, don't panic. Immediately approach the other kite and exchange and adjust the lines to loosen them.
6. When retrieving a kite, slowly retract the string, and try to keep the kite away from areas with tall trees to prevent the kite from falling and getting caught in the trees.
