Whistle blowing technique
Beginners often have their cheeks, tongue, and lips protruding forward, relaxed, and with a wide wind passage. In local dialect, it's like blowing straight out of a bellows, with the air not coming out quickly or weakly, so the whistle sound is not bright.
The correct blowing technique is as follows: when blowing the whistle, first insert the whistle mouthpiece into your mouth, use your upper and lower incisors to bite the inner side of the upper and lower flanges—the part that forms the mouthpiece—the tightness should be just right so that the whistle doesn't come loose when you blow air through your teeth. Use the tip of your tongue to slightly press against the opening of the whistle, and tightly close your upper and lower lips around the neck of the whistle to prevent air from leaking. Contract the muscles in your chest and abdomen to increase the pressure in your chest cavity, and simultaneously, close your nose to stop air from entering through the nose.
Form a blowing-out trend. Then retract the tip of the tongue suddenly to open the whistle mouth, allowing the airflow into the whistle. Blow the whistle, the strength of the whistle sound and the size of the volume are determined by the force of the blowing. Whether the whistle sound is long or short,
You need to have enough breath, press the tip of your tongue against the whistle, and instantly blow air, or it's easy to form 'leakage', making the whistle sound unclear and not achieving the desired effect.
