Universal application: Standard 1-2L base armor can be used. Summer's surface baking, acid rain attacks, and the impact of flying stones on gravel roads, especially the corrosion of de-icing agents in winter snow roads, even steel bones can be tortured to the point of serious damage. Most of the current popular mid-to-low-end cars are manufactured with very simple treatments for the chassis due to cost considerations. Many cars only have a thin layer of underbody paint, and even some models only spray in parts, while domestic cars almost do not spray. Under normal climate and geographical conditions, the original factory rust prevention measures can still provide limited protection for the chassis, but if there are any abnormalities, they cannot handle it. For example, the Jetta car chassis that has been on the decline has not been processed, and the bottom of the car on both sides of the Vellfire model is only sprayed with a 10-centimeter wide, and after cleaning, the entire bottom surface is gone.
What is underbody armor?
(Also known as underbody sealing): Strongly adhered to the surface and gaps of the car's underbody, with obvious functions of corrosion prevention, wear resistance, and noise reduction. The lighter weight and invisible "shield", long-term protection, easy to operate, no need for dilution, directly sprayed, the particles and thickness are almost perfect.
How to install undercarriage armor?
Undercarriage armor is done in two steps: the first is cleaning, where the vehicle is lifted with a hoist and the undercarriage is cleaned with a cleaner to remove sand, oil, and other debris, revealing the original metal surface. The second step is to spray a layer of elastic protective coating on the undercarriage. This coating can be sprayed multiple times or once, with multiple sprays being more time-consuming but curing faster. One-time spraying is more convenient but takes longer to cure, with the same actual effect. After spraying, it is essential to wait until the surface is dry, which means it is no longer sticky, before driving away. This usually takes about 4 hours.
