1. Coating: Apply paint, latex paint, waterproof coating, varnish, wood wax oil, etc., which is the most basic application.
2. Paint touch-ups and repairs: Small areas of paint loss, scratches, and corner repairs, more precise than rollers.
3. Corner treatment: Brush the corners, window frames, door frames, and skirting boards, etc., which are difficult to operate with rollers due to their narrow and small locations.
4. Adhesive/Lubrication: Brushing on glue, wood oil, rust-proof paint, release agent, and other viscous liquids.
5. Clean and De-dust: A soft-bristle brush can be used to remove dust and debris, suitable for cleaning the gaps between electrical appliances and furniture.
6. Art coating: Texture, aging, outline drawing, hand painting, etc. Decorative effects.
In short: For large areas, I use a roller. For corners, details, small areas, and repairs, I mostly rely on a paintbrush.
