| Piece ball valve working principle 1. Opening process: 1. In the closed position, the ball is subjected to mechanical pressure from the valve stem, tightly pressing against the seat. 2. When the hand wheel is rotated counterclockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction, with the bottom angled plane of the valve stem causing the ball to disengage from the seat. 3. As the valve stem continues to rise, it interacts with the guide pin in the spiral groove of the valve stem, allowing the ball to begin to rotate without friction. 4. Until it reaches the fully open position, the valve stem is raised to the limit position, and the ball rotates to the fully open position. 2. Closing process: 1. When closing, rotate the hand wheel clockwise, and the valve stem begins to descend, causing the ball to leave the seat and start to rotate. 2. Continue to rotate the hand wheel, and the guide pin embedded in the spiral groove of the valve stem acts on the valve stem, causing the valve stem and the ball to rotate 90 degrees simultaneously. 3. When closing, the ball has rotated 90 degrees without contact with the seat. 4. In the final few rotations of the hand wheel, the angled plane at the bottom of the valve stem mechanically wedges to press the ball tightly against the seat, achieving complete sealing. |
