Scope of Application:The 502 glue has high adhesion strength and can bond various materials, such as steel, non-ferrous metals, rubber, leather, plastic, ceramics, wood, and more.
Poor adhesion to certain materials:For non-polar polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polytetrafluoroethylene, the adhesion of 502 adhesive is poor, and special treatment is required to ensure effective bonding. When using 502 adhesive, attention should be paid to its corrosiveness, especially towards plastic materials, which may cause discoloration or deformation of the material. Additionally, the application temperature of 502 adhesive should not exceed 50°C to avoid affecting its performance. To remove 502 adhesive, organic solvents such as acetone or gasoline can be used, but safety must be ensured during use to prevent inhalation of toxic solvent vapors.
Product Features:After coming into contact with air, the 502 glue rapidly undergoes a polymerization reaction, thus curing and sticking together in a short time. The cured layer is colorless and transparent, and does not affect the appearance of the object being bonded. In humid environments, 502 glue tends to absorb water and expand, resulting in reduced or lost adhesion. Although it cures quickly, the cured layer is quite brittle and not resistant to impact or vibration. However, 502 glue is a single-component product that can be used immediately without heating or special treatment, making it easy to apply.
