Buyer's Guide:
Inspection and acceptance -- After the buyer receives the goods, please inspect them first before accepting them. If there is any damage, please refuse to accept them! Return them directly to the courier company! When inspecting, be sure to open the package in person to check the quality and count the items. If there are any discrepancies, contact the seller immediately in front of the courier.
Sign first, then inspect the goods; if there are any issues, you can refuse to accept it (very important). Please refer to the following procedure:
1. Please sign the delivery upon receipt of the goods. If no signature is given, the package does not belong to you, and the courier will not allow you to open it, otherwise you would have no explanation when returning it.
2. After signing, the receipt is in your hands—this is a critical step. Once signed, make sure the courier does not tear it up. Please open the package immediately to inspect it.
If the receipt has already been torn off, please sign it and hold it in your hand first, or if it cannot be delivered by courier, then ask him to hand over the item to you for inspection. (You have already signed as required; he has no reason not to give you the package.)
3. If there are no issues after reviewing, send the order to the courier. This will save everyone’s trouble, and the transaction is successful!
4. After the inspection, if any issues are found, please immediately cross out the signature with a pen and notify us. Then seal the package and have the courier mark it as rejected.
5. If the delivery person asks for proof that the package was not opened by him, please help them. After all, they are also responsible for delivering the goods. Even if there is an issue during transportation, don’t make things difficult for the delivery person.
6. Please be aware of potential issues during logistics transportation: A complete outer packaging does not guarantee that the contents are intact, nor does it mean the goods were not damaged due to crushing or squeezing. A complete outer packaging also does not indicate the original packaging used when shipping, nor does it mean the goods were repackaged without being disassembled. Therefore, please inspect them in person to clarify responsibilities. According to postal laws, after the recipient signs for the package, the corresponding responsibilities transfer to the recipient. If any issues arise after the courier has left, the logistics company is entitled to refuse any complaints or compensation requests under the postal laws. To protect your legitimate rights and interests, please sign for the package in person and keep evidence, which will help clarify responsibilities and facilitate resolution.
Case:
Courier: Hello, there is your package that needs to be signed for.
Customer: Okay, I’ll take a look at the goods first.
Courier: You can only open it and check it after signing.
Customer: Who set this rule?
Courier: This is according to our company's regulations. If you don’t sign, I will take it back and consider it a rejection.
Customer: Seeing the delivery person leaving: Alright, I'll sign.
After signing, the customer takes the delivery receipt and refuses to hand it over. At this point, the delivery receipt must not be given to the delivery person.
Courier: You need to sign the package receipt; it’s for me, and we need to keep it in records.
Customer: I need to unpack and inspect the goods before delivering it to you; this is our family rule. Either you accept it or I refuse to sign.
Courier: Speechless, can only patiently wait for the customer to inspect the goods. Depending on the volume of the shipment, it can be shipped via courier or logistics according to the customer's requirements.
