Basic Introduction to Straps
1. Straps, as the name suggests, are bands used for tying things together. They feature a non-returnable design, meaning they get tighter the more you tie them. There are also detachable straps. They are divided into metal straps (usually made of stainless steel) and plastic straps (usually made of nylon). They are commonly used for cables in mechanical and electrical products, computers, electronic devices, and automotive wiring harnesses.
2. Plastic tie wraps are also known as: tie wires, tie straps, binding strips, nylon tie wraps, tying straps, fastening bands, and electronic tie wraps.
3. It is manufactured by injection molding using UL-approved Nylon 6 6 material. It has a fire resistance rating of 94V-2, good acid and corrosion resistance, insulation properties, resistance to aging, and strong load-bearing capacity. The operating temperature ranges from -40 to 90 degrees Celsius. This product features quick binding, excellent insulation, self-locking fixation, and easy use.
4. Due to the special nature of the products, the molds, injection molding process, and materials used for plastic tie wraps are highly specialized. Generally, new manufacturers need a long period of trial and error before they can produce qualified products.
Features and Applications
1. Strapping products feature quick tying, good insulation, self-locking fastening, and easy use. They can be used in electronics factories to secure internal wiring of televisions, computers, lighting fixtures, motors, electronic toys, and other products; to fix oil pipelines in mechanical equipment; to secure cable lines on ships; for packaging bicycles or bundling other items. They also apply to agriculture, horticulture, handcrafts, and other applications for tying objects.
2. Straps are widely used for bundling items such as Christmas gift factories, electronics factories, wire processing plants, wires and cables, toy factories, festive occasions, stationery stores, fresh food supermarkets, household daily necessities, electrical appliances, connectors, etc.
