Newborn Tracheostomy Model

Product Introduction:This model is primarily used for teaching intubation procedures during neonatal resuscitation and for training students in practical exercises. It is available to healthcare institutions such as medical schools, midwifery schools, nursing schools, major hospitals, maternal and child health centers, and other grassroots medical and health units. Mastering intubation techniques using this model before returning to work can standardize the operation of intubation techniques and improve the survival rate of neonatal resuscitation.
When performing tracheal intubation, first moisten the mouth, pharynx, and larynx with soapy water and cleaning solution. Then, use the left hand to hold the laryngoscope and insert the lens into the base of the tongue, pulling it upward. At this point, the cricoid cartilage will be visible; gradually move the lens over the cricoid cartilage area. As you continue to pull the lens upward, the cricoid cartilage will rebound and secure the lens in place, making the diamond-shaped tracheal opening clearly visible below. With the right hand, hold the endotracheal tube and bring it into contact with the lubricant before inserting it into the trachea under direct vision.
First, apply lubricant to one nostril using the nasal cannula. Then, insert the tracheal tube into one nostril and pass it downward through the nasal passage into the throat. Finally, under direct visualization with a laryngoscope, use a cannula clamp to introduce the tracheal tube into the trachea.
The model is made of elastic PVC resin. To closely mimic clinical operations and training exercises, the base is specially reinforced. The movable ring of the mounting bracket connects to the neck, causing the model head to tilt slightly backward when in a flat position.
