Simulated Head Model System for Oral Clinical Internship
Simulated head models for oral clinical internships are primarily used in experimental training and practice in fields such as common oral internal diseases, oral prosthodontics, oral preventive medicine, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. This lightweight internship system offers diverse applications. Its compact design enables students in the oral department, dental assistants, and medical students to conduct internships both at work and at home, thereby improving their skills. The functions provided are sufficient for use in schools and internship settings. It can basically meet the needs of internship curricula across various oral teaching disciplines. The head model with an occlusal device can be easily disassembled and reassembled on the head model itself, without the need to remove it from the occlusal device!
Composed of the following parts
1) Head shape: A head cap made of high-strength transparent resin material, with a smooth finish. It replicates the orbital-auricular plane, nasal wing-auricular plane, jaw plane, and mandibular cut point according to anatomical requirements. The external ear portion of the anatomical model is used for facial projection practice.
2) Mask: Made of bioengineered rubber material, with realistic color and a texture similar to human skin. It provides comfortable touch and is durable over time. A drainage mechanism has been designed.
3) Shoulder support rod: Made of stainless steel, environmentally friendly, and mimics the normal human body structure.
4) FE Occlusal Device: Made of aluminum alloy. It can perform opening and closing, forward movement, and lateral movement to simulate mandibular motion. The inclination of the forward condylar path is 30 degrees, the inclination of the lateral condylar path is 15 degrees, the distance between the two lateral condyles is 110 mm, and the maximum opening distance is 50 mm.
5) Universal adjustment handle: By adjusting the large and small universal joints, the position of the head replica and the shoulder body can be easily adjusted.
