She suddenly realized: the beauty of the southern ladies is not something that is constrained by anything, but rather nurtured by sunlight, sea breeze, and drum sounds together.

So, these shoes came into being.

2. Three inspirations

🌊  The texture of the beachThe vertical patterns on the shoe upper were not chosen randomly. They originate from the fine markings left by the repeated erosion of the Ipanema beach by the tide — with the rise and fall of the tide, the sand is woven into undulating ridges. We incorporated them into the shoes:When you walk, the ridges stretch and shrink gently with each step, like the tide breathing on your footsole.

💃  Samba drum beatsThat square gold clasp is like a drumbeat during the carnival night. The Brazilian says that samba doesn’t come out from outside—it grows from within the soles of the feet. Square, it refers to architecture, modernism, and urbanity; gold, it refers to those never-fading spots of light on carnival feather headdresses.We have encapsulated the original passion within a restrained gold clasp — this is the entire attitude of these shoes: passionate, but without noise.

☀️Colors of the equator Four colors, each taking a frame from the four seasons of Rio:

• Stone Black—— It’s the street where the lights remain on after the carnival ends, the red lips and high heels of women in the night sky;
• Wine Red—— It’s at Cape Canaveral sunset, the color of the entire sea turned by fire, and the light reflected in the palm of a glass of chilled Khasasa;
