II. Product Features:
Compact in size, fully functional, easy to operate, and portable. It can be powered by a power adapter or a 3.7V lithium battery. When used with an oscilloscope, it is suitable for testing and debugging electronic circuits, as well as measuring the frequency characteristics and pulse response of audio amplifiers. Due to its excellent accuracy and frequency stability, DDS is also ideal for calibrating the scan time factor of the oscilloscope. This square wave output is useful for adjusting the attenuation and pulse characteristics of the oscilloscope probe.
III. Key Descriptions
When the instrument is in operation and the cursor is not blinking (press RUN/STOP), other keys are ineffective; if you need to adjust parameters, please first press RUN/STOP and wait for the cursor to blink before using other buttons for settings.
MODE: The mode key is used to switch the output waveform.
Frequency: Press to move the cursor, rotate to adjust the frequency. Hold down to rotate for left or right movement of the cursor. Hold down MODE and turn the knob for quick waveform adjustment.
RUN/STOP: Enable or disable waveform output. Long press the frequency value to set it to zero.
When the cursor does not blink, the waveform will be displayed; other keys are ineffective.
DC OFF SET: DC Bias Switch
Press ON: The yellow knob can be adjusted to adjust the DC component of the signal.
OFF mode activated: The DC component of the signal is 0.
FILTER: Filter switch. When the signal is close to a 300K or larger sine wave, press this button, and the waveform will become smoother. However, the signal amplitude will also decrease.
AMP: Used to adjust the signal amplitude (increasing in clockwise direction)
IV. Usage Steps:
1. Remove the accompanying USB to TYPE cable and insert it into the power input port (the power source can be a computer USB port, a phone charger, or a power bank; it is recommended to use a power source certified by 3C, as poor quality power may prevent the signal generator from functioning properly). Connect the BNC clip cable, the red clip cable to the oscilloscope probe, and the black clip cable to the oscilloscope GND clip.
2. Press the power switch, then press the MODE key to select the waveform to output:
