Removing Carpet Burn Marks
If the carpet is burnt, in severe cases, we can use the patching method to remove it. First, try to brush off the burnt area as much as possible with a hard brush. Then, you can brush the carpet hair under the furniture up, cut it off with scissors, and use adhesive to stick it to the burnt area. Use an object that is about the weight of a book and flat to press on it. Once the adhesive dries, the hair will be firmly attached. Finally, use a brush to gently comb it.
The carpet is restored to its original condition.
After using the carpet for a long time, the color will no longer be bright. To make the color of the old carpet bright again, you can spread salt on the carpet the night before, and the next morning, use a clean warm cloth to remove the salt. The bright color of the carpet will be restored.
Removing stains from carpets
For carpet stains of animal and plant oils, use cotton soaked in high-purity gasoline to wipe them away. For juice and beer stains, first wipe with a soft cloth dipped in a laundry powder solution, then use a mixture of warm water and a little vinegar to clean. For ink stains, if they are fresh, sprinkle fine salt on the stain and then brush with warm soapy water. For old stains, soak the area in milk for a while, then brush with a brush dipped in milk.
