结构：由电动程控器、水位开关、安全开关（盖开关）、排水选择开关、不排水停机开关、贮水开关、漂洗选择开关、洗涤选择开关等组成。

工作原理：通过各种开关组成控制电路，来控制电动机、进水阀、排水电磁铁及蜂鸣器的电压输出，使洗衣机实现程序运转。

首先，洗衣机的保养分两种状态，工作状态与非工作状态，要分别对待。洗衣前要仔细阅读洗衣机说明书，尽量按其要求操作，然后检查衣物是否适合放进洗衣机清洗，确保里面没有金属、硬币、钥匙等硬物，并将拉链拉上，以免对洗衣机造成损坏。同时要注意所洗涤的衣物不能超过洗衣机的容量，因为过重会增加电机的负担，或会造成皮带断裂，而减少洗衣机的寿命。

在非工作状态下,要保持洗衣机的干燥，擦干外壳、打开门盖，让水蒸发，而洗衣机上盖上不能堆放重物和发热的物品。而且要将洗衣机放在干爽、通风的地方，摆放的位置要平稳，远离汽油、酒精等易燃品。

用软布经常擦拭洗衣机，特别脏时，可用浸有中性肥皂或肥皂水的软布进行擦拭，千万不要用稀释剂、煤油、酒精等清洁，且要定期清洗过滤网，用清水去除里面的线屑或落下的异物。平时要把洗衣机的插头拔掉，以免造成危险。
