  1. Classification of Balls

  Ball split stitching balls and glue balls, commonly used are hand-stitched footballs, glue basketballs, glue volleyballs, made of the inner lining, skin, ball mouth, etc. The inner lining is the ball's heart, located in the innermost layer, made of black rubber; the skin is divided into synthetic leather (ultra-fine high-strength fiber, PU, PVC, etc.) and genuine leather; the ball mouth is used to inflate the ball. There are differences in size for the balls, with basketballs divided into 7, 6, and 5 sizes, footballs divided into 5, 4, and 3 sizes, and volleyballs divided into 5, 4, and 3 sizes. The most commonly used are 5-size footballs, 7-size basketballs, and 5-size volleyballs.

   2. How to Choose High-Quality Balls

  The quality of the ball feels comfortable when in use, and the bounce performance is stable, which is easy to cultivate good dribbling habits and helps to make standard and accurate technical movements. High-quality brand balls can also enhance self-confidence and improve the quality of training and the fun of sports. A ball can be inflated once and used multiple times, with a longer service life. To buy a good-quality ball, you need to consider the following aspects:

   1. Buy balls from legitimate enterprises. Choose balls with factory names, trademarks, and addresses printed on them. These enterprises produce in a standardized manner, have strict management, and pay attention to the craftsmanship and product quality. Their products are relatively stable and reliable.

  2. First, inflate the ball to the appropriate air pressure. Find a flat, hard surface such as cement. Then hold the ball up, so that the bottom of the ball is at a height of 1.8m, and let it fall to the ground freely. Observe the ball's bounce. A good ball should bounce between 1.2m and 1.4m. A poor-quality ball will either bounce too high or too low.

  3. The leather should be free from crocodile skin, cracks, and knife wounds during the visual inspection. The skin pattern should be delicate, and the surface should be smooth. The stitching of the soccer ball shell should be neat and uniform, with no exposed thread exceeding 1.5mm. The ball stem of the glued basketball should be straight and without any separation.

4Airtightness inspection, special attention should be paid to the airtightness of various balls. The ball body should not have any leakage or slow air leakage phenomena. A common inspection method is to charge the ball to a certain pressure and then drop clean water on the air nozzle. If there are small bubbles, it indicates that the ball is leaking.

  Section Three: How to Use the Ball

  1. It is best to use the special air needle provided with the ball. Before use, lubricate the air needle to prevent damage to the air nozzle. Do not use deformed air needles or other substitutes.

  2. Each ball should be inflated to the specified pressure. The standard pressure for a 7# basketball is 0.06MPa, for a 5# football it is 0.07MPa, and for a volleyball it is 0.0425MPa. Under the standard pressure, the performance of the ball is best, otherwise it is easy to deform.

   3Please choose the ball with different materials according to the different venues to extend the service life.

   4After use, clean the surface of the ball. Please do not use a wet cloth to wipe the leather ball to prevent molding, and store it in a cool and dry place.
