PVC glue is suitable for PVC pipe with diameter less than 300mm or PVC plate with medium area.

It is used in civil and industrial PVC piping systems for drinking water, water treatment equipment, industrial piping, golf course, farmland irrigation, ventilation system and other fields. 

1. Cut the pipe in a vertical plane and chamfer 10 to 15 degrees, remove the edge particles, clean and wipe the surface to be glued.

2. Test the joint tightness of the pipe and fitting. Under normal circumstances, the pipe should be smoothly inserted into 1/3 to 2/3 of the fitting to feel tight.

3. Apply a thick and even layer of glue to the end of the pipe to the depth of the fitting socket, and apply a layer of medium thickness glue to the inside of the fitting to avoid leaving too much glue in the fitting to form a pool.

4. When applying glue to the single-opening pipe, avoid applying the glue beyond the depth of the socket or letting the glue flow into the socket.

If the glue is not wet enough, reapply the glue and then reapply. When bonding, push the tube hard to the bottom of the fitting and rotate the tube 1/8 to 1/4 turn as much as possible. Hold for 30 seconds to avoid a rebound.

6. Pipes under two inches (50 mm) shall wait above 60°F(16°C) for 5 minutes before moving. Glued pipes shall not be pressurized to 160 LBS/sq in (11.2 kg/sq cm) for at least 60 minutes. Longer drying time is required if pipe size exceeds 2 inches (50 mm)/ higher pressure or temperature below 120°F(16°C).
