1. Press the thumb into the recess and pull backwards to open the battery cover.
2. Insert the 6F22 (9V) battery following the + and - symbols on the battery cover.
3. Push the battery cover forward and tighten it.
6. Usage Method:
1. Turn on the power switch (5), and you will hear a "click" sound, indicating that the power is on and the green light is lit. If there is no sound, it means the battery is not installed or the battery contact is poor. If the sound continues without stopping, it means the battery cannot be used any more and a new battery should be replaced.
2. After the start-up sound stops, you can proceed with high sensitivity detection. Hold the handle and sweep the detection surface around the object to be measured. When there is a metal object, an alarm sound will be emitted, and at the same time, the green light will turn red. When the scanning stops, the alarm sound will cease, and the red light will turn green.
Sensitivity Adjustment:
1. If the detection distance does not meet the prescribed requirements or if the sensitivity is too high, causing instability or if the body without metal also emits sound, the sensitivity should be adjusted.
2. Use a small flat screwdriver to insert it into the small hole on the detector handle and rotate clockwise until it starts to make a sound. Then rotate counterclockwise until it stops making a sound, and then rotate counterclockwise by half a circle until the sensitivity meets the requirements.
8. Safety Precautions:
1. After use, please remember to turn off the power.
2. If not used for a long time, remove the battery.
3. When the probe is fixed facing a metal object, it does not emit a sound, but only when it sweeps over the metal does it make a sound.
