Section 4: Applicable Methods

  1Press the power switch, and a start-up prompt sound (or vibration) will be emitted, the green indicator light will turn on, indicating that the power has been turned on, and the detection work can be performed. When detecting, hold the handle and aim the detection head at the surrounding of the object to be detected, and when a metal object is detected, the red light will automatically turn on and a sound will be emitted. When the scanning is stopped, the sound will stop, and the green indicator light will turn on.

  2Press the power button, and a shutdown prompt sound (or vibration) will be issued, and the green indicator light will go out, indicating that the power has been turned off.

  3When the sensitivity is set to a higher level, the device will emit a sound upon turning on.3-4The second sound (or vibration), which is a normal phenomenon, can be used as long as you sweep the metal to be measured.

Sensitivity Adjustment

  1Detection distance does not meet the prescribed requirements or sensitivity is too high, which may cause instability or cause alarm to the human body, the sensitivity adjustment should be made. Method: hold the new detector and tighten the screws of the battery cover, then gently pull the battery cover flat back.

  2After turning on the power, adjust the potentiometer screw on the circuit board at the front of the battery with a small screwdriver. Adjust it to just make a sound when you turn it counterclockwise half a circle to one circle, until it stops making a sound. Turning clockwise increases sensitivity, and turning counterclockwise reduces sensitivity. After adjusting, move the battery cover parallel and tighten the screw.

Section 6: Changing the Battery

   Remove the battery cover: Insert the battery cap with the positive and negative poles in accordance with the battery cap.9VBattery, cover the battery cover and tighten the screws.

7. Safety Precautions

1If the sensitivity is set too high, the device will emit a continuous alarm sound when turned on. To resolve this, lower the sensitivity.

2Please disconnect the power after use. If it is not used for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the circuit.

3When using the probe, if it is fixed on a metal object, it will first emit a sound (or vibration) and then stop the alarm. Therefore, the sound (or vibration) will continue only when the probe is scanning over the metal object.

4After turning on the device, if the green indicator light is dim and the device continuously emits alarms, it indicates that the battery power is insufficient and the device is unable to operate. It should be replaced with a new battery.
