The loom without shirring has achieved significant results in improving the fabric and increasing the efficiency of the weaving machine, and has been widely adopted in many countries. It has accelerated the process of transforming weaving equipment, and the occupancy rate of looms without shirring in many developed countries has reached about 80%, showing a large trend of replacing the loom with shirring with the loom without shirring.

Comber: A tool used to stabilize the weft thread during weaving.

Sewing needle: The machine part that carries the shuttle and guides the weft yarn into the shuttle lane. It makes intermittent reciprocating movements on traditional looms and makes continuous circular movements on circular looms. China has been using sewing needles since the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty. Nowadays, the term "sewing needle" is generally used to refer to the sewing needle.
The shuttle is made of materials such as persimmon wood, Quercus glauca, laminated wood, or nylon.
Combing: A tool used to press the weft threads.
